What we collect when you book
When you book a pickup we ask for your name, email address, phone number, pickup address (including suite and buzzer if you give them), your chosen pickup date, the bags or boxes you are booking, any notes you add, and one to three photos of your items.
We use this only to arrange and carry out your pickup, to contact you about it, to send your confirmation, and to keep the business records the law requires.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us only whether the payment succeeded, the amount, and your email address. Stripe’s privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services we need to run the business:
- Stripe, to take your payment.
- Hostinger, which hosts this website, our booking database and our email.
- Our pickup driver, who needs your name, address and phone number to collect your items.
- Google, for the measurement described below.
Some of these providers store information outside Canada.
Cookies and measurement
This website uses the Google tag to count visits and to measure whether our Google ads lead to bookings. Google sets cookies and receives information such as the pages you view, your approximate location and your device type. When a booking is paid, we send Google the booking reference and the amount, but not your name, address or contact details.
You can block this measurement in your browser’s cookie settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The website and booking form work without it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Photos you upload are stored privately and are visible only to us.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Email us and we will reply as soon as we can.
